Preparing for your appointment
WHAT TO DO BEFORE:
Prior to your appointment, you want your skin to be in the best condition possible to accept the pigment. Follow these simple guidelines for one week prior to your appointment: Avoid taking aspirin, fish oils, Vitamin E and ibuprofen. Avoid using Retin A or having a facial peel. Avoid excess sun exposure or having waxing done around the area to be treated for one week before your appointment.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER:
The pigment will look darker for the first 7 days. After that, it will soften and lighten. Be patient with this process. You will apply the ointment provided in small amounts for one week. The area may flake and feel dry as it sheds the excess color.
